thinks. There's got to be another way. Invincible, she hides, locked
inside a box, inside a box, inside a box. Alone, she knows she's
safe. Bored, she sits and picks at her fingernails waiting for the
world to happen, watching for the excitement to start. To entertain
herself she changes the colour of the walls in her head, adds people,
places, but they don't talk to her, aren't real to her. Surprised,
she finds she misses having proper people to talk to so she considers
her options: Come out of the boxes and play, or stay inside, safe
but utterly, totally bored. |
